CATS II employs a reliable industry standard proven communications protocol to monitor and test up to 16,000 emergency luminaries, wired through an easily installed tree-branch or even simpler daisy chain cable network to suit all building types. CATS II, initially launched in 1992, has been well accepted by Consulting Engineers and End-users alike, with successful installations covering many different building types including:
- hospitals
- universities
- office towers
- shopping centres
The unique ‘Status’ screen can display the operational condition of up to 1,300 emergency luminaries per page allowing the whole CATS II analysis to be seen at a glance.
Test times, days, frequency and test duration are easily set up. These predetermined tests will occur without the PC being connected. The test analysis of your luminaries can be seen instantly via the ‘Test Status’ screen ensuring no luminaries have been overlooked. Screen display is clearly indicated with coloured symbols or letters indicating cause of failure. Units requiring attention are highlighted with bicolour LED’s making them easy to locate.
Easy to follow reports format, ‘Units failed test’ report includes location information, luminaries type, fault descriptions and spare part numbers.
